Academic Applications of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) Course at SDSU

Topics covered include: Overview: How Does AI Work? Ethics & Responsible Use; What Can AI Do? Finding Apps; Prompt Engineering Activities.

The Academic Applications of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) course is a comprehensive program developed by students, faculty and staff just like you to enhance your understanding of generative AI. The course consists of five learning modules focusing on practical skills and takes two to four hours to complete. Participants who successfully complete the course and all activities will earn a digital badge and the SDSU AAAI micro-credential certification.

The Academic Applications of AI (AAAI) Micro-Credential is now available to all learners through SDSU Global Campus! This SDSU-developed program explores the academic applications of artificial intelligence.

For those who wish to showcase their achievement, an optional digital badge is available for $25 upon completion.

We are excited to introduce the California State University (CSU)-wide Academic Applications of AI (AAAI) Faculty Micro-Credential. Members of the CSU community may self-enroll. Choose the “CSU Employee & Student Login” button, select your campus from the dropdown menu, and click the “Enroll in Course” button on the top right.
